CSTV Releases Cable Providers for UConn-Notre Dame Women's Basketball Game
NEW YORK - CSTV (Feb. 20,2003) - College Sports Television (CSTV)
is the first 24-hour television network devoted exclusively to college
sports. Sunday's Connecticut-Notre Dame women's basketball game
at Gampel Pavilion will mark the debut broadcast for the network,
which will offer a six-week free preview that will culminate with its
official launch on Monday, April 7, immediately following the end of
the NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Championship. CSTV also
announced it has reached agreements with cable providers in several cities
nationwide to carry the game live. Those clearances include:
Albuquerque, NM (Comcast)
Bangor, Maine (WBGR-TV; tape delayed to Monday at 7 p.m. EST)
Buffalo, NY (WNGS-TV)
Colorado Springs, CO (Adelphia)
Dayton, OH (WRCX-TV; tape delayed to Sunday at 4 p.m. EST)
Greensboro, NC (WXIV-TV)
Kansas City, MO (KMCI-TV)
LaCrosse, WI (KQEG-TV)
Louisville, KY (WYCS-TV)
Memphis, TN (Time Warner)
Pittsburgh, PA (WBGN-TV)
Portland, OR (Comcast)
Roanoke, VA (WDRL-TV)
South Bend, IN (WNDU-TV; tape delayed to Sunday at 4 p.m. EST)
West Palm Beach, FL (WTCN-TV; tape delayed to Monday at noon EST) The game
Sunday, will also be televised locally by CPTV. Tip-off is set for 2:00
p.m.
