the positive recognition they bring to their school by displaying their talents
on the basketball floor.
"Kodak is proud to partner with the WBCA in honoring the best
women’s collegiate players as Kodak All-Americans," said Bud Danker, Director
and VP for Brand and Market Development at Kodak. "We acknowledge the
accomplishments of these student athletes and the positive recognition they
bring to their schools, their communities, and the game."
"The Kodak/WBCA All-America program is one of our most prized
possessions," said Beth Bass WBCA Chief Executive Officer. "It symbolizes the
best and oldest running sports sponsorship in the history of women’s basketball.
There are plenty of other All-America programs, but this is by far the most
coveted."
Founded in 1981, the WBCA promotes women’s basketball by unifying coaches at
all levels to develop an identity for the sport and to foster and promote the
development of the game as an amateur sport for women and girls. For additional
