Special Thanks!
Bruce Cohen, Director of CPIA
Bruce gave a presentation to the athletes present at the
meet November 11, on resume building and utilizing athletics as a solid
contributor to a detailed resume. He gave tools to market student-athletes
experience at UConn on the resume. Bruce is offering a course for
student-athletes in the spring, specifically for juniors and seniors, on similar
topics. Thanks again!
Wrap-up of past events
Coat Drive
Did not have as good of a turn out as the past years.
Overall we still collected 1,000 coats to keep families warm for the winter.
Food Drives
Thank you to everyone who donated food. We delivered two
cars full of the food to St. Mark’s in Willimantic. It was a great experience!
Habitat for Humanity
Was cancelled, however, we are currently looking to
reschedule in the spring. The dates will be announced.
Talent Show
The winner of the 2007 talent show goes to the men’s ice
hockey team. Their rendition of the “Thong Song” won by a landslide.
Congratulations.
