UConn Men’s Cross Country Competes
at New England Championship
BOSTON, Mass.
(Oct. 8) – The University of
Connecticut men’s cross country team came in 14th at the New England
Championship on Friday at Franklin Park. UConn finished with 400 points, while
Providence won the meet with 25 points.
Freshman Paul Durfee (Laconia, N.H.) was the top finisher for the
Huskies, taking 31st out of 315 competitors with a time of 25:33.
Senior captain Pat Blake (Lebanon, Conn.) followed in 57th
with a time of 25:57 and sophomore Max Feldman (Easton, Conn.) placed 79th
with a time of 26:20.
Providence runner Martin Fagan was the individual champion, taking first in
24:20.
Connecticut next competes in the Albany Invitational on Saturday, October 16th.
