Springfield, MA--- University of Connecticut women's basketball coach Geno Auriemma appeared Thursday, February 20, at a press conference at the Basketball Hall of Fame to present to the Hall the game ball and other memorabilia from the January 18, 2003, 72-59 victory over Georgetown, which established a 55 game win streak, a national women's record. (The UConn women have since extended that streak to 64 games.).

The Huskies will return to action on Sunday against Notre Dame at Gampel Pavilion.  Tip-off is slated for 2:00 p.m. and will be televised regionally by CSTV and locally by CPTV.
