Battle's (Pittsburgh, PA) six steals helped Connecticut go on a 19-4 run to put
the Hoyas away early at 27-7. UConn would maintain their lead for the rest
of the half and go to the locker room with the score 42-25. The Huskies and
Hoyas played evenly through the first part of the second half, before UConn went
on a 14-5 run for a 30 point lead at 75-45 with 7:59 remaining to play in the
game. Head coach Geno Auriemma subbed freely through the remainder of the
half as Connecticut never allowed the Hoyas to put together a run. UConn
