Rebecca Lobo Day in Connecticut

Connecticut Lieutenant Governor Jodi Rell hosted Rebecca Lobo Day Festivities at the State Capitol in Hartford on Thursday, Jan. 29. In addition to Lobo and Rell also taking part was current University of Connecticut head coach Geno Auriemma and UConn Director of Athletics Jeff Hathaway. Former UConn Husky Meghan Pattyson-Culmo served as the emcee for the event.

The festivities recognized Lobo's achievements for women's basketball in that state of Connecticut as a member of the UConn women's basketball team and the Connecticut Sun of the WNBA.
