60 Minutes To Air Piece On UConn Women's Basketball On Sunday, March 7

STORRS, CT (March 2) – 60 Minutes, the highly-rated CBS News Magazine, is scheduled to air a feature on the University of Connecticut women’s basketball program during its next episode on Sunday, March 7 at 7:00 p.m. (ET).

The feature, which will last approximately 12 minutes, is slated to feature interviews with UConn head coach Geno Auriemma and senior standout Diana Taurasi.

60 Minutes is in its 36th season and is one of the most successful television programs in history as it has  been among Nielsen’s top-10 programs a record 23 consecutive seasons – a record never even approached by another program.

60 Minutes can be seen on any one of CBS national affiliates, including WFSB (Hartford) in Connecticut.
