Huskies Fall in Hockey East Semifinals with 5-1 Loss to Providence
STORRS, Conn. (March 8, 2008) - Mari Pehkonen (Tampere, Finland) scored twice in the first period to propel the Providence College women’s ice hockey team to a 5-1 win over the University of Connecticut in the Hockey East semifinals on Saturday afternoon at UConn’s Mark Edward Freitas Ice Forum.
