Three Compete in Men's Cross Country NCAA Regional Championships
BRONX, N.Y. (November 16, 2008) - Three runners on the University of Connecticut men's cross country team competed in the NCAA Regional Championships, Saturday. UConn's top finisher was sophomore Scott Johnson (Old Lyme, Conn.). He finished first for the Huskies for the fifth time this season. Johnson placed 79th overall.

Men's Cross Country BIG EAST Championship Results
STORRS, Conn. (October 31, 2008) - The University of Connecticut men’s cross country team took part in the BIG EAST Championships Friday and finished in 13th place. The 8k race was held in Van Cortlandt Park for the first time in three years. Sophomore Scott Johnson crossed the line first for the Huskies finishing overall in 68th place with a time of 26:28. This is the fourth time during the 2008 cross country season that Johnson has finished first out of all of the UConn runners.

UConn Finishes Tenth At Central Connecticut Mini Meet
NEW BRITAIN, Conn. (October 25, 2008) - The University of Connecticut men’s cross country team took part in the CCSU mini meet this weekend, their last weekend before the BIG EAST Championships. The Huskies were one of 14 teams to race in the 5K meet and took 10th overall with their highest runner coming in 25th place out of 148 runners.

Men's Cross Country Takes Sixth At Leopard Invitational
EASTON, Pa. (October 19, 2008) - The University of Connecticut men’s cross country team finished sixth this weekend at the Leopard Invitational hosted by Lafayette College. The Huskies top finisher was sophomore Scott Johnson (Old Lyme, Conn.) who had his best finish of the year in a non-dual meet coming in ninth overall with a time of 26:12.00.
