Men's Track and Field to Compete in IC4A Championship

PRINCETON, N.J. (May 15, 2008) - The University of Connecticut men's track and field team travels to Princeton, N.J. May 16-18 to compete in the 132nd annual IC4A Championship meet. The meet will feature 82 schools from all three NCAA divisions that are members of the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC). The meet gets under way Friday at 1:00 p.m. with the decathlon.

VILLANOVA, Pa. (May 4, 2008) - The University of Connecticut men's track and field team came in second place in the outdoor BIG EAST Championship over the weekend for the second consecutive year. UConn finished the event with 105 points. Notre Dame won the conference title with 122.50 points.

Dubs Wins Shot Put to Highlight Men's Track and Field at Day Two of BIG EAST Championship

VILLANOVA, Pa. (May 3, 2008) - The University of Connecticut men's track and field team is in fourth place with 32 points after day two of the outdoor BIG EAST Championship Saturday. Andrew Dubs (Holland, Pa.) had the major highlight for the Huskies as he won a BIG EAST title in the shot put for the second straight year with a throw of 60-3¼. That throw was a personal record, beating his previous best by nearly three feet.
