(October 3, 2008) - Co-captains and current point leaders, Dominique Thibault (L’Original, Ont.) and Nicole Tritter (Toronto, Ont.) look to bring the momentum of the University of Connecticut women’s ice hockey team’s season-opening win against Sacred Heart (Sept. 27) to Minnesota State-Mankato this weekend. Binning's Power-Play Goal Propels Women's Ice Hockey to 5-2 Victory at Minnesota State-Mankato

(October 3, 2008) - Two members of the University of Connecticut women’s ice hockey team (2-0) scored twice in a 5-2 victory over Minnesota State-Mankato (0-1) on Friday night at the All Seasons Arena. Amy Hollstein (Pembroke, Mass.) and Michelle Binning (Oshawa, Ont.) each scored twice for the Huskies in their second game of the season.

Women's Ice Hockey Predicted to Finish Fourth in Hockey East

STORRS, Conn. (September 29, 2008) - The University of Connecticut women’s ice hockey team was selected to finish fourth among eight teams as announced by Hockey East Commissioner Joe Bertagna on Monday afternoon. UConn opened the regular season on Saturday, Sept. 27 with a 13-0 victory over Sacred Heart at Mark Edward Freitas Ice Forum.

STORRS, Conn. (September 27, 2008) - The University of Connecticut women’s ice hockey team cruised to a 13-0 victory in its first game of the season against Sacred Heart. UConn scored three shorthanded goals and two power-play goals on Saturday evening at Mark Edward Freitas Ice Forum.
