 Late Rally Not Enough For Women's Soccer As They Lose To Cincinnati 2-1
CINCINNATI, Ohio (October 5, 2008) - Despite a late second half comeback attempt, the University of Connecticut women’s soccer team fell to Cincinatti 2-1 in Cincinatti. The Bearcats (6-5-1, 2-2-1 BIG EAST) scored at the very end of the first half and once again during the second half to give them a 2-0 lead. UConn (3-7-3, 1-2-2 BIG EAST) cut that lead in half with 15 minutes remaining but was unable score again giving them their second BIG EAST loss.

Women's Soccer Finishes In 1-1 Draw With Louisville
LOUISVILLE, Kentucky (October 3, 2008) - The University of Connecticut women’s soccer team played to a 1-1 tie in Louisville Friday. The Huskies took the lead early but Louisville (4-4-2, 2-1-1 BIG EAST) was able to come back towards the end of the second half to push the UConn record to 3-6-3, 1-1-2 BIG EAST.

Women's Soccer Falls To Marquette 1-0 In First BIG EAST Loss Of The Season
MILWAUKEE, Wisc. (September 28, 2008) - The University of Connecticut women’s soccer team lost their first game in BIG EAST play Sunday at Marquette. The Golden Eagles scored at 26:25 and held their lead for the rest of the game.

Women's Soccer And South Florida End In 0-0 Tie
STORRS, Conn. (September 25, 2008) - The University of Connecticut women's soccer team took a season high 33 shots but were unable to get any of them in the goal finishing with a 0-0 tie to South Florida after two overtimes. The Huskies move to 1-0-1 in the BIG EAST.

Yi named to BIG EAST Honor Roll
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (September 23, 2008) - University of Connecticut junior midfielder Annie Yi (Indianapolis, Ind.) was named to the BIG EAST honor roll for the week of Sept. 22, 2008 after she tallied all of UConn's goals on the weekend helping them to a 1-0-1 record, 1-0 in the BIG EAST.
