First Season

Oklahoma '98

Kate Tellers enters her first season as an assistant coach with the University of Connecticut women’s tennis team after working with various club and high school teams over the last six years.

A four-year letterwinner with the University of Oklahoma, Tellers was a two-time Big Eight Champion with titles in both singles and doubles play.

She was a two-year captain and named an ITA Academic All-America in 1998 after receiving conference academic honors each of her four seasons.

Tellers graduated from Oklahoma in 1998. She was also a three-time Arizona state champion while attending Canyon Del Oro High School in Tucson.

The former Kate Dunlevy, she is married to Shawn Tellers and the couple has three children: Jake, Mara Faith and Will.
