Kim McGreevy Named Michigan State Assistant Track and Field/Cross Country Coach

(August 21, 2008) - Kim McGreevy, who spent four years with the University of Connecticut women's track and field and cross country programs, has been named the new assistant coach at Michigan State University as announced by Spartans' Director of Track and Field/Cross Country, Walt Drenth.

George and Evering Repeat as USTFCCCA All-Academic Team Members
STORRS, Conn. (August 7, 2008) - University of Connecticut women's track and field standouts, Phylicia George (Markham, Ont.) and Alyssa Evering (Bel Air, Md.), have been selected to the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) 2008 Division I All-Academic Track and Field team. This is the second straight year that both have earned this honor.

STORRS, Conn. (June 30, 2008) - Tamara Highsmith (East Haven, Conn.), a 2008 graduating senior for the University of Connecticut women's track and field team, came in 17th of 24 in the triple jump preliminaries as she competed at the Olympic Trials in Eugene, Ore. on June 27.
