Summer countdown to the fall semester with Hollis Wivell

STORRS, Conn. - At one day remaining, Hollis Wivell rounds out the summer countdown for the UConn softball team before the fall semester gets underway.Â

"This past weekend I ran the Falmouth Road Race which is a 7-mile road race along the coast of Falmouth, a town at the beginning of cape cod. One of my good friends from high school has been a part of it every year and invited me to join her this year. It was something that I'd been looking forward to all summer, especially since it would be the first race I had run since my knee surgery at the end of December. It gave me a goal of something to work towards in pushing myself physically and mentally outside of softball. I finished it in an hour and three minutes and I can't wait to beat my time next year."
