One of two catchers to sign, Castner is left-handed and an excellent defensive catcher and good hitter. In addition to her role behind the plate, she can also play first base and outfield. She plays ball at Lacey Township High School and for the NJ Inferno. Castner plans on majoring in nursing at UConn.
Caouette is the Huskies only pitching recruit this season. She attends Columbia High School and plays ball for the STPTA Ponies out of Binghamton, NY. Caouette, who also plays field hockey, plans on majoring in accounting at UConn.
Enders, the fifth recruit and second catcher that signed, plays travel ball for the MD Heartbreakers and attends Middletown High School. She can also play outfield and participates in field hockey and basketball. She is looking to major in broadcast communications at UConn.
