Ticket Holder Terms and Conditions
No Refunds or Exchanges
This ticket is a revocable license that grants the holder (Holder) admission to attend the specified University of Connecticut Division of Athletics (UConn) athletic event. By using this ticket, Holder agrees to these terms on behalf of him/herself and any accompanying minor(s).
UConn and Oak View Group reserve the right to refuse admission or eject from the venue any person deemed to be intoxicated or to be engaging in conduct that creates a disruptive, disorderly, or unsafe environment for the players, coaches, officials, or other patrons. No refund or other remedy will be available in the event of such refusal or removal.
Holder must comply with the venue’s security policies, including any applicable bag policy, and other rules. Admission to the venue may also be subject to a reasonable search for prohibited items. Prohibited items may be confiscated.
This ticket may not be used for, nor may the Holder enter the venue for, advertising, promotion (including contests and sweepstakes) or other trade or commercial purposes, without the prior written approval of UConn or Oak View Group, as applicable.
Holder grants irrevocable permission to UConn and Oak View Group and each of their designees and agents to utilize Holder’s image, voice, likeness, actions and/or statements in any live or recorded audio, video or photographic display or other transmission, exhibition, publication, or reproduction made of, or at, the event in any medium or context for any purpose, including commercial or promotional purposes, without further authorization or compensation.
Breach of any of the terms of this license, failure to comply with venue rules, or the refunding to Holder of the printed purchase price on the face of this ticket less any discount the purchaser may have received from UConn or Oak View Group shall automatically terminate any rights that Holder may have hereunder and shall authorize UConn or Oak View Group to revoke the ticket at any time prior to or during the event, refuse admission to the venue or eject Holder from the venue. Breach of any of the terms of this license shall also subject Holder to all legal remedies available to UConn and Oak View Group and, if applicable, may also result in the revocation of season tickets privileges.
Resale or attempted resale of this ticket in violation of applicable law is grounds for seizure or cancellation without refund or other compensation.
If this ticket is for an accessible seat, and if Holder transfers this ticket to an individual who does not require an accessible seat, UConn and Oak View Group reserve the right to move such individual and his or her companions to the closest available or comparable non-accessible seating. If this ticket is for a non-accessible seat, and if Holder either requires an accessible seat or transfers this ticket to an individual who requires an accessible seat, Holder or the transferee (as applicable) is advised to contact the Box Office to determine whether there is an accessible seat available for the Event. This ticket exchange process is on a first-come, first-serve basis and there is no guarantee that accessible seating will be available.
HOLDER ACKNOWLEDGES THE RISKS AND DANGERS RELATED TO ATTENDING A LIVE ATHLETIC EVENT. HOLDER VOLUNTARILY ASSUMES ALL SUCH RISKS AND DANGERS, WHETHER OCCURRING PRIOR TO, DURING OR AFTER THE EVENT, HOWSOEVER CAUSED AND WHETHER BY NEGLIGENCE OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE RISK OF LOST, STOLEN OR DAMAGED PROPERTY AND THE RISK OF PERSONAL INJURY OF ANY KIND (INCLUDING DEATH). HOLDER AGREES THAT UCONN, OAK VIEW GROUP AND EACH OF THEIR RESPECTIVE AFFILIATES, EMPLOYEES, VOLUNTEERS, AGENTS AND CONTRACTORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE OR OTHERWISE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY SUCH LOSS, DAMAGE OR INJURY TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. HOLDER FURTHER RELEASES UCONN, OAK VIEW GROUP AND SUCH OTHER PERSONS FROM ANY SUCH LIABILITY OR RESPONSIBILITY.
THE DATE AND TIME OF THE EVENT AS WELL THE OPPONENT ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE. IF AN EVENT IS CANCELLED AND NOT REPLAYED, THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY IS A REFUND OF THE FACE VALUE (LESS ANY DISCOUNT THE PURCHASER MAY HAVE RECEIVED FROM UCONN OR OAK VIEW GROUP) OF THIS TICKET TO THE ORIGINAL PURCHASER OF THE TICKET.
