Connecticut Men's Tennis Falls To Rutgers

Connecticut's top three singles matches came down to close three-setters. Freshman Andy Sweatt (Reno, Nev.), however, would be the only Husky to withstand the Scarlet Knights' attack, defeating Kevin Bielen, 6-3, 1-6, 6-3, at No. 3 singles. Sweatt also paired with senior co- captain Luke Grimshaw (Frederick, Md.) to once again take down Bielen and his teammate Joe Muscatiello, 8-3, at No. 2 doubles.
The Huskies (4-5 overall, 0-2 BIG EAST) next travel to Providence, Rhode Island, on Feb. 10 to face Brown University of the Ivy League at 10 a.m.
