Huskies Lose Tight One to St. John's

STORRS, CT (April 2, 2002) - The University of Connecticut men’s tennis team dropped a tight match to St. John’s, 4-2, Tuesday afternoon at the UConn Tennis Courts. The loss drops the Huskies to 10-6 overall and 0-2 in the BIG EAST.
After losing the doubles point by only winning the No. 1 doubles match, the Huskies came back to take two of six of the singles matches, and played a third singles match into a third set before play was suspended due to darkness.
UConn returns to action on Saturday, April 6, at 10 a.m. when it travels to Georgetown for a BIG EAST match-up.
