Men's Tennis Swept by Yale 7-0

East Haven, Conn. (February 25, 2007) - The University of Connecticut men's tennis team was swept by Yale 7-0 on Sunday afternoon in East Haven, Conn.
The Bulldogs opened play by taking all three doubles matches to earn the match's opening point. Junior Christian Malerba (Derby, Conn.) had the closest match of the day at No. 4 singles with Josh Lederman, but fell 6-2, 6-2. At No. 5, junior Nate Carvalho (Freetown, Mass.) took Connor Dawson to a 6-2, 6-1 match but was defeated.
The Huskies return to action on March 7 in a match against Texas-Pan American in San Antonio, Texas.
