Two More Huskies Add to 2009 MLB Draft Count

STORRS, Conn. - The University of Connecticut baseball team had two more players drafted in the 2009 Major League Baseball Draft on Thursday afternoon. The number of Huskies drafted during this year's draft has improved to seven, a program-high.
David Erickson joins the group of Huskies taken in Wednesday's second day of the draft as he was picked by the San Diego Padres in the 32nd round as the 954th overall pick.
Incoming freshman Pat Butler from Chatham, N.J. was drafted by the Minnesota Twins in the 41st round. The 6-5 right hander was taken as the 1,242nd overall pick.
