Huskies Begin NCAA Postseason Quest in Norfolk, Va.

NORFOLK, Va. - The University of Connecticut women's basketball team began its 2010 NCAA Tournament quest in Norfolk, Va., on Saturday with its first NCAA press conference followed by open practice.
Following its first press conference of the tournament, the NCAA held practices open to the public at the Ted Constant Convocation Center for all four teams participating at the first-round site.
UConn will begin play on Sunday, March 21 as the Huskies take on Southern University (La.) in first round action. The game is scheduled to begin at 12:16 p.m. on Sunday afternoon and will be televised live on ESPN2.
Fans should be advised that ESPN2 will be utilizing "whip around" coverage for Sunday's NCAA action. Fans in Connecticut looking to see the game in its entirety, will need to watch on the standard definition ESPN2 as the network will be featuring "whip around" coverage on its HD channel.
The game will also be shown in its entirety on ESPN360.com.
