Busque Named To BIG EAST Honor Roll

STORRS, Conn. - It was announced on Monday evening that UConn women's soccer player Melissa Busque (St. Bruno, Quebec) has been named to the BIG EAST Honor Roll after tallying three goals in a pair of UConn victories this past weekend. Busque put home the game winner in a 2-0 victory over Yale on Thursday, September 9th. The sophomore midfielder then tallied a pair of goals, including the game winner, in a 5-0 victory over Central Connecticut on Sunday, September 12.
Busque ranks second on the team with three goals, two assists and eight points. The Huskies have won four straight and stand at 4-2-1 as they start BIG EAST play with a 7 pm contest against Providence College on Friday, September 17 at Joseph J. Morrone Stadium.
