Storrs, Conn. - Throughout the season, check the UConn softball roster to read about your favorite UConn Huskies. Selected UConn players will supply their fans with personal facts and tidbits you can't learn from the field. Today we have a questionnaire from sophomore #5 Brittany Duclos (Mystic, Conn.). Fans can now view player profiles for Duclos, #15 Kim Silva, #25 Jessica McDermott and #24 Kiki Saveriano.
Duclos led all UConn freshmen last season with a .273 batting average. She finished her first year with four homeruns, six doubles and 18 RBI. Duclos ranked second on the team with 25 runs scored in 51 games played.

The team opens the 2011 campaign in Boca Raton, Fla. at the Florida Atlantic Tournament from February 25-27. The Huskies will play five games during the three-day stretch against Jacksonville, Maryland, Kent State and the hosts, Florida Atlantic University. The team will continue the tournament schedule at the Buzz Classic in Woodstock, Ga. From March 4-6 and the USF Tournament in Tampa, Fla. from March 11-13. UConn will head back to Storrs for the first home game of the season on March 16 against Fairfield at 3:30 p.m.
