Fuller Lands on Weekly BIG EAST Honor Roll

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - University of Connecticut senior first baseman Ryan Fuller (Old Lyme, Conn.) has been named to the BIG EAST Honor Roll for the week ending April 22.
Fuller batted .533 (8-15) in a 3-1 week for the Huskies and hit three home runs, his first three of the season to go with nine RBI and five runs scored. He slugged 1.267 and held a .579 on-base percentage for the week.
His first homer came in a 13-8 come-from-behind win at Fairfield on Tuesday, with the other two coming in the first of two 9-8 wins over Rutgers in a Friday doubleheader. Primarily a first baseman, Fuller also saw action at third base, where he played all of 2011, late in a pair of games.
Fuller became the third player, all infielders, to be named to the BIG EAST Honor Roll this season.
