STORRS, Conn.- The UConn men's track and field squad is back in action on Saturday at Penn State's Sykes and Sabock Challenge Cup where events are slated to begin at 9 a.m.
The Huskies last competed at the Boston University Terrier Classic where Alex Bennatan posted the highest Husky finish of the evening with second place in the 800m as the Huskies claimed eight top-five performances.
In addition to Bennatan, Connecticut had a strong showing by its underclassmen with freshman Alvaro Chavez and Alex Levine finishing fifth and sixth in the 1,000m run, respectively. Additionally, first year Huskies John Landis and Harley Lacroix took fourth and fifth in the long jump, while sophomore Tobey Belton was fourth in the high jump.
