Women's Hoops Arrives in Nebraska

LINCOLN, Neb. - The University of Connecticut women's basketball team arrived in Lincoln, Neb. on Thursday, March 27 in preparation for No. 1 UConn's NCAA Tournament Regional Semifinal showdown with No. 12 seed BYU on Saturday. Game time is set for 4:30 p.m. EDT and the contest will be televised nationally on ESPN.

The Huskies landed in Lincoln around 5:30 p.m. local time and had a quick bus trip to the hotel in downtown Lincoln.

UConn's pregame press conference is scheduled for 11:45 a.m. EDT on Friday at Pinnacle Bank Arena and SNY, the home of UConn basketball, will air it live. Following the media obligations, the Huskies will practice at the Arena and are scheduled to have the rest of the day off.
