Women's Hoops Holds Practice Sunday in Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. - UConn women's basketball continued its NCAA Tournament preparation with pre-game practice on Sunday at Pinnacle Bank Arena. UConn fulfilled its media obligations in the morning before heading out for a noon-time practice. All five Husky starters joined head coach Geno Auriemma at the podium for a press conference before break out individual interviews with the media.
No. 1 UConn will face third-seeded Texas A&M for the third time in program history in Monday night's regional final. A trip to the 2014 NCAA Final Four in Nashville, Tennesee will be at stake tomorrow evening when the squads meet at center court. Tip time is set for 8:30p.m. CDT (9:30p.m. ET) on March 31. ESPN will provide nationally televised coverage Pam Ward and Carolyn Peck on the call. The UConn/IMG Radio Network will also provide coverage.
