2018 Paradise Jam Backet Released

The women's basketball Paradise Jam will be held Nov. 22-24 at the University of the Virgin Islands' Sports and Fitness Center. UConn will begin play against Ole Miss on Nov. 22 at 7:30 p.m. ET before facing St. John's on the 23rd at 7:30 p.m. ET. The Huskies will conclude the Jam on Nov. 24 against Purdue at 7:30 p.m. ET.
All games for the Paradise Jam will be streamed online at FloHoops.com.
The Huskies previously competed in the 2007 and 2012 Paradise Jams and won their division titles in both years. UConn is 99-38 all-time in regular-season tournaments and has won its last 55 games in regular-season tournaments, dating back to 1992.
Tournament directors are in the process of evaluating the feasibility of offering official fan travel packages for the 2018 Paradise Jam. More information will be made available in the future. Ole Miss finished the 2017-18 season with a 12-19 record, including a 1-15 mark in SEC play. This will be the first-ever meeting between UConn and Ole Miss.
Purdue posted a 20-14 overall record last season with a 9-7 record in Big Ten play. The Boilermakers advanced to the WNIT Round of 16. UConn is 5-1 all-time vs. Purdue with the last meeting coming in the 2012 Paradise Jam.
St. John's notched a 19-15 record in 2017-18 and a 9-9 record in BIG EAST competition. The Red Storm advanced to the quarterfinals of the WNIT. As former conference opponents, UConn is 40-17 all-time against St. John's. The last meeting came on Feb. 2, 2013.
