Hill Wins Nordic Tournament With USA U-23

FREDERIKSTAD, Norway – Former UConn two-time NSCAA All-American Rachel Hill was recently called up to the USA U-23 National team and helped the stars and stripes win the Women's U-23 Nordic Tournament.
Hill helped lift the red, white and blue to a 2-0 win vs. Sweden in the opening match of the tournament on Aug. 30. Hill and Team USA followed it up with a 0-0 draw against England before prevailing 1-0 against Norway to win the tournament.
Hill is currently competing professionally with the Orlando Pride in the National Women's Soccer League while also playing for Perth in Professional Footballers Australia. Hill has appeared in 20 gams for the Pride and started seven scoring four goals during the campgain. In the Australian W-League Hill was the third leading scorer in the league with nine goals in the 2017- '18 season.
Hill finished her stellar career at UConn with 61 career goals, 18 assists and 140 career points. With her 61 goals, the Rollinsford, N.H. native ranks second in UConn history. She currently sits fourth all-time in career points. The two-time MAC Hermann Trophy Semifinalist closed her career in the top-five in the program's history with four NCAA Tournament goals and 10 points in the National Tournament.
