No. 5 Huskies Roll Past Trevecca Nazarene, 99-54

Hartford, Conn. – Junior Megan Walker scored 28 points as the UConn women's basketball team defeated Trevecca Nazarene 99-54 in its second and final exhibition game on Wednesday night at the XL Center.
Walker also grabbed a team-high eight boards on the night. Sophomore Olivia Nelson-Ododa tallied eight points, five rebounds, and two blocks.
Senior Crystal Dangerfield tallied 17 points, five rebounds, and four assists. Freshman Aubrey Griffin and sophomore Christyn Williams also hit double digit points, recording 12 and 10 points respectively.
All nine Huskies saw game action again, each scoring at least two points. The Huskies held an 11-0 advantage in rebounds and 13-7 advantage in steals.
UConn shot 61.3% on the evening, including 33.3% from beyond the arc.
The Huskies open their regular season campaign against California on Sunday, November 10th at 1:00pm at Gampel Pavilion.
