No. 4 Huskies Travel to Seton Hall Thursday

STORRS, Conn. - The fourth-ranked UConn women's basketball team (6-0) travels to Seton Hall (5-3) Thursday. The teams will tip at 6:30 p.m. on Fox Sports Network and the UConn IMG Sports Network on 97-9 ESPN.
The Huskies are 50-10 all-time vs. Seton Hall. UConn has won the last 30 matchups with the Pirates, dating to 1995.
Connecticut's next three games are against former BIG EAST rivals: Seton Hall, Notre Dame and DePaul.
UConn posted a 75-37 win over Dayton last Tuesday in the team's final game before Thanksgiving. With senior Crystal Dangerfield out of the lineup, junior Megan Walker stepped up and led the Huskies with 23 points and 12 rebounds. Sophomores Christyn Williams and Olivia Nelson-Ododa each scored 14 points vs. the Flyers. Nelson-Ododa tallied a career-high seven blocks against Dayton.
Senior Molly Bent made her first career start against Dayton while senior Kyla Irwin returned to the starting lineup for the first time since UConn's debut vs. Cal.
The Huskies currently rank ninth nationally with 6.0 blocks per game. Nelson-Ododa has 28 of UConn's 36 blocks this season. Nelson-Ododa ranks second nationally with 28 blocks and 4.67 blocks per game. Nelson-Ododa has three games with five or more blocks, including a career-high seven vs. Dayton.
Since the 1993-94 season, the Huskies have posted a 285-24 (.922) record in non-conference play. UConn will have a tough run in non-conference play this season as they face preseason No. 1 Oregon, No. 2 Baylor, No. 8 South Carolina, No. 16 Notre Dame and No. 18 DePaul.
UConn returns to Storrs on Sunday for an ESPN matchup against Notre Dame in the Women's Jimmy V Classic. The game is sold out.
