Huskies to Honor Seniors, Rebecca Lobo Saturday

STORRS, Conn. – The second-ranked UConn women's basketball team (26-2, 14-0 American) hosts Houston (15-12, 9-5) Saturday at 1 p.m. in the team's final regular season home game of 2018-19. The game will be broadcast on SNY/ESPN3 and the UConn Sports Network from Learfield IMG College.

Pregame, the Huskies will honor seniors Katie Lou Samuelson and Napheesa Collier. The duo will have each of their jerseys put into the Huskies of Honor. Fans attending the game should plan on being in their seats by 12:40 to watch the ceremony.
Fans can write messages Samuelson and Collier at all entrances.
At halftime, UConn will retire the number of Rebecca Lobo, the first Husky to earn the honor. Lobo was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2017. In her time in Storrs, she led UConn to the program's first NCAA Championship in 1995 and she was a two-time First Team All-American. She was the 1995 National Player of the Year and went on to win gold at the 1996 Olympic Games with the U.S. National Team.
Both the pregame and halftime ceremonies will be shown on SNY.
At all entrances, fans can pick up #BleedBlue rally towels, Rebecca Lobo jersey rally towels and a commemorative Ray Allen/Rebecca Lobo poster.
The game will also feature UConn's second annual Stripe Out. Fans are encouraged to wear either blue or white depending on what section they are sitting it. Fans can click HERE to find out what color they should wear Saturday.
The Huskies have won their sixth straight American Athletic Conference regular season championship. UConn will be the No. 1 seed in next weekend's conference tournament. The Huskies are 100-0 in conference regular season games since joining the American.
UConn is 7-0 all-time vs. Houston. In January, the Huskies opened conference play with an 81-61 win over the Cougars.
Houston is coming off a 59-49 loss to USF Wednesday. This season, Jasmyne Harris leads the Cougars with 16.2 points per game and Serithia Hawkins has the team lead with 7.4 rebounds per game.
