Knapp, Kearsey Secure All-Conference Swims

INDIANAPOLIS – The UConn men's swimming and diving team received a pair of All-Conference performances on Friday night at The American Championships at the IUPUI Natatorium.
Cooper Knapp secured a third place finish in the 400 IM with a time of 3:53.81. It was the second medal of the Championships for the junior after taking third place in the 200 IM on Thursday night. Knapp will go for a third medal in the 200 Fly on Saturday.

Junior Will Kearsey captured a silver medal in the 100 Back, just missing out on winning the event for the third consecutive year at The Championships. Kearsey led throughout the race but ECU's Taylor Tristan squeaked out the win with a time of 47.38.
Matt Dagenais (400 IM, 7th), Karl Bishop (200 Free, 6th), Josh Wroblewski (200 Free, 7th), Mark Hunter (100 Breast, 5th) all earned top-eight spots in the finals.
