Huskies Fall at Florida Atlantic

BOCA RATON, Fla. - The UConn Huskies took on the Florida Atlantic Owls in the second match of their spring break trip on Saturday, falling 7-0 to the Owls.

"We didn't have the level of belief & execution needed to beat a good FAU team," stated associate head coach Reinaldo Valor. "We had some opportunities today but we need more consistent play in every spot. The guys will have to dig deep tomorrow as we have a tough double header with Palm Beach Atlantic & University of Miami."

Sophomore Yili Zheng (Shanghai, China) played a strong match at No. 1 singles, losing 7-5 in the first set to Jason Legall before losing the second, 6-3.

The Huskies will take on Palm Beach Atlantic tomorrow at 11 am and then head to the University of Miami for a nightcap at 6 pm.
