Baseball Cracks Multiple Top-25 Polls

STORRS, Conn. - The UConn baseball closed out its fourth-straight series win on Sunday with a 10-0 blowout win against UCF on Sunday.

The Huskies 4-1 week, that moved the team to 17-9 overall and 4-2 in The American, vaulted UConn into the D1Baseball.com and Baseball America Top-25 rankings for the first time this season.

UConn is ranked No. 22 in both polls. The Huskies were ranked for 14 weeks of the 2018 campaign and have flirted with the Top-25 this season but had yet to breakthrough.

The No. 22 Huskies begin a five-game home stand on Tuesday, April 2 with a match up against Fairfield Univeristy at 3 p.m. at J.O. Christian Field.
