Softball announces fall schedule

STORRS, Conn.—The UConn softball team has released the 2019 fall schedule as announced by Head Coach Laura Valentino.
Catch your Huskies both home and away this fall, with away contests in Boston and Fairfield. UConn will play a total of eight games, including a pair of doubleheaders. Fall opponents for UConn are CCSU, Boston University, Harvard, Franklin Pierce, Boston College, Quinnipiac, Fairfield, and Stony Brook.
SCHEDULE
Friday, September 27th vs. Central Connecticut @ 3:30 p.m.
Saturday, September 28th at Boston University & Harvard @ TBD (doubleheader)
Saturday, October 5th vs. Franklin Pierce @ 1:00 p.m. (10 innings)
Sunday, October 6th vs. Boston College @ noon
Friday, October 11th vs. Quinnipiac @ 4:00 p.m.
Saturday, October 12th at Fairfield & Stony Brook @ TBD (doubleheader)
"I'm very excited to see this team compete this fall," said Valentino. "These eight games will be a great opportunity to see what we do well and how we can grow as a unit. We are eager to see the players execute our new program standards in game situations."
