UConn To Host Team Day for USA Exhibition

STORRS, Conn. – UConn Women's Basketball is inviting all Connecticut and Northeastern school and club basketball teams to the XL Center on Monday, January 27, for its exhibition game versus the U.S. Women's National Team at 7 p.m.
With the matchup of two notorious programs, UConn Women's Basketball is using this opportunity to expose local basketball teams to strong role models in an effort to continue to grow the game. Teams, coaches, and administrators that are interested in utilizing this opportunity will receive complimentary admission upon proper completion of the registration process.
To register to receive complimentary admission for your team, please submit a roster that fits the following parameters tomarketing@uconn.edu with the subject line "WBB USA Team Day Roster Submission":
- The school and/or name of the team
- Each team member's last name, first name, year in school, and team classification (6th/7th/8th/FR/JV/VA/Other – AAU/club denotations)
- Each coach's last name, first name, "(C)" to denote that they are a coach, and which team they coach
- Each related administrator and/or manager's last name, first name, year in school (if applicable) and denotation of relation to the team i.e. "manager", "administrator", etc.
The deadline to register is this Friday, January 24th at noon. All teams that properly register will be sent confirmation and final details upon completion of the process.
