No. 6 UConn Closes Regular Season vs. USF at XL Center

STORRS, Conn. – The sixth-ranked UConn women's basketball team (25-3, 15-0 American) finishes off the 2019-20 regular season against USF (18-11, 10-5) Monday in the XL Center. The teams will tip at 7 p.m. on ESPN2 and 97-9 ESPN.
The Huskies notched a 92-40 win over Houston in the team's regular season road finale last Saturday. For the first time this season, all five UConn starters scored in double digits: Megan Walker (21), Anna Makurat (16), Olivia Nelson-Ododa (14), Christyn Williams (12) and Crystal Dangerfield (10).
UConn is 30-0 all-time vs. USF. The Huskies posted a 67-47 win over the Bulls on Feb. 16 in Tampa, led by 21 points from Walker and 20 from Nelson-Ododa.
The Huskies won their seventh straight American Athletic Conference regular season title last week. UConn is 117-0 in regular-season play and 135-0 including tournament play.
Connecticut will be the No. 1 seed in the upcoming American Athletic Conference Tournament March 6-9 at Mohegan Sun Arena. For more on the championship, click HERE.
Four Huskies were named finalists for the Basketball Hall of Fame's position player of the year awards. Senior Crystal Dangerfield (Nancy Lieberman Award), junior Megan Walker (Cheryl Miller Award), sophomore Christyn Williams (Ann Meyers Drysdale Award) and sophomore Olivia Nelson-Ododa (Lisa Leslie Award) are on the 10-player finalist lists for their positions.
