Ward Named to BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

STORRS, Conn. – Freshman MaryKate Ward of the UConn women's soccer team was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll Monday.
In her first career start last week vs. Marquette, Ward made seven saves and earned a 3-0 shutout. The Holliston, Mass., native faced 12 shots vs. the Golden Eagles.
The Huskies are back in action at Morrone Stadium this Thursday to host Creighton at 7 p.m.
