STORRS, Conn. – The UConn women's basketball team will welcome two freshmen next season as head coach Geno Auriemma announced the program's 2022 signing class Wednesday.
UConn's class includes 6-foot-3 forward Isuneh 'Ice' Brady and 6-foot-2 forward Ayanna Patterson. Both recruits are in the top-5 of the ESPN HoopGurlz Recruiting Rankings.
"During the recruiting period for this class, we set out to find a couple bigs who could play multiple positions," Auriemma said. "I think we found the two best in the country in Ayanna and Ice. As a tandem, I think they're going to give us exactly what we were looking for."
