No. 2 UConn to Face No. 23 USF in Battle 4 Atlantis

PARADISE ISLAND, Bahamas – The No. 2 UConn women's basketball team (2-0) continues Battle 4 Atlantis play Sunday vs. No. 23 USF (3-1) at noon. The game will be available on FloHoops and the UConn Sports Network.
The Huskies opened up tournament play with an 88-58 win over Minnesota Saturday. Senior Christyn Williams scored a career-high 31 points vs. the Gophers while shooting 12-for-14 from the field. Redshirt senior Evina Westbrook added 16 points.
UConn holds a 32-0 all-time record vs. USF. The teams were previously members of the BIG EAST and American Athletic Conferences together. This is UConn and USF's first meeting since the 2020 American Tournament.
USF picked up a 77-53 win over Syracuse on the first day of the tournament. This season, Elena Tsineke leads the Bulls with 16.0 points per game while Bethy Mununga is averaging 12.0 rebounds per game. Â Head coach Jose Fernandez is in his 21st seaÂson at USF.
