Bedoya Named United Soccer Coaches All-Region

STORRS, Conn. – UConn women's soccer sophomore Jaydah Bedoya was named to the 2021 NCAA Division I Women's East Region Third Team, as announced by United Soccer Coaches.
Bedoya led the Huskies with six goals and 16 points this season. Nine of Bedoya's points came in the second half of the season. She scored two goals vs. Creighton on Oct. 14. Bedoya also tied for the team lead with four assists. She ranked ninth in the conference in points and goals per game this season.
The New Bedford, Mass., native started all 18 games in her second season in Storrs. She helped lead the team to a 9-8-1 record and an appearance in the BIG EAST Women's Soccer Championship.
Bedoya was named to the All-BIG EAST First Team.
