STORRS, Conn. – The UConn baseball team announced its 2022 spring schedule on Wednesday afternoon with the Huskies 56-game schedule consisting of 22 home games at Elliot Ballpark.
For the first time in the illustrious history of the program, season tickets are now ON SALE. Season tickets for chair back seats is $199, bleachers is $149 and the Berm area is $99.
The Huskies reached their third-straight NCAA Tournament in 2021 and captured the BIG EAST regular season and tournament titles.
The non-conference schedule features three trips to Florida with an opening weekend (Feb. 18-20) against 2021 NCAA Tournament participants USF and Charlotte, and perennial ACC powerhouse Louisville in Tampa.
UConn travels to Jacksonville to face North Florida (Feb 25-27) and Miami to square off against FIU (March 4-6)
Spring break brings a trip to the West Coast with the Huskies playing a series against Pepperdine (March 11-13) and UC San Diego (March 19-21). Midweek opponents during the trip feature matchups against historic programs in USC (March 15) and Long Beach State (March 16).
The home opener at Elliot Ballpark is set for March 8 against the Hartford Hawks at 3 p.m.
The Huskies will open the month of April with a non-conference road trip to Kent State (April 1-3).
The Northeast midweek schedule features usual suspects with home-and-home series against Bryant, Boston College and Northeastern. The Huskies will play its first-ever game against Merrimack at Elliot Ballpark on April 6 and also have home midweek games against Central Connecticut, UMass and Yale.
UConn will face off against Marist on April 12 at Dunkin' Donuts Park in Hartford.
The Huskies open its BIG EAST schedule with a home series against St. John's (April 8-10) and also have home series against Villanova (April 22-24), Creighton (May 6-8) and Xavier (May 13-15).
BIG EAST road series feature Seton Hall (April 14 & 16), Butler (April 29-May 1) and Georgetown (May 19-21).
The BIG EAST Championship will be at Prasco Park in Mason, Ohio. The four-team championship is scheduled for May 26-29.
Home games will be streamed on FloSports this season, while audio broadcasts for all 56 games can be heard on MIXLR.
All games are subject to time and date changes. Individual game tickets will be on sale in the near future.
