Rain Washes Out Kickin’ Chicken Classic

CONWAY, S.C. – Due to severe rain today and expected inclement weather conditions in the Conway, S.C. area this weekend, the Kickin' Chicken Classic has been canceled.

Friday's 11:00 am opener between UConn and Ohio was able to get underway, but rainy conditions caused the contest to be delayed in the top of the fifth inning, with the the Huskies leading 6-4. The game was later canceled due to unplayable conditions caused by heavy rain.
