UConn and CBS Sports Announce Football Game Times for 2021 Season

UConn’s First Five Games Will be Televised by CBS Sports Network

STORRS, Conn. – UConn and CBS Sports revealed game times for all six UConn football home games, all of which will be televised on CBS Sports Network, and also announced that two additional road games will be televised on the nationally distributed network. The Huskies' first five games of the 2021 season will be televised nationally on CBS Sports Network and UConn fans now have the uncommon benefit of knowing all game times for the 2021 home football schedule.
UConn football season tickets are available for renewal or purchase now. The priority deadline is scheduled for June 18, 2021. For more information visit UConn.Football.
"CBS Sports is a great partner for our football program not only because of the national exposure it will receive but also because our fans now have the opportunity to plan ahead in more complete fashion," director of athletics David Benedict said. "For the first time in years, UConn football fans know kick times for each home game, and we hope this will make it easier for more people to join us at Pratt & Whitney Stadium at Rentschler Field this fall."

The 2021 home opener, scheduled for Saturday, September 4 against Holy Cross, will kick at 12 p.m. while the contest against Purdue the following Saturday is set for 3 p.m. UConn's next home game, scheduled for Saturday, September 25 against Wyoming, will begin at 3:30 p.m. while the renewed rivalry with Yale, on Saturday, October 16, is set to kick at 12 p.m.Â
The Huskies will welcome Middle Tennessee to East Hartford for a Friday night showdown on October 22 at 6 p.m. while the regular-season finale against Houston, set for Saturday, November 27, will kick-off at 12 p.m.
The 2021 season opener at Fresno State and the contest at Army on September 18 will also be televised by CBS Sports Network. Army is slated for 12 p.m., while the Fresno State game time is TBD.
CBS Sports Network, the 24-hour home of CBS Sports, is available through all major cable, satellite and telco distributors as well as via OTT streaming service providers YouTube TV, fuboTV, DirecTV and Hulu. Additionally, a live CBS Sports Network stream is available through CBSSports.com and the CBS Sports App with select providers.
