WSOC 2021 Fall Schedule Unveiled

STORRS, Conn. - The UConn women's soccer team has released its 2021 fall schedule beginning with an exhibition game against UMass on Monday, Aug. 9.

The Huskies will play a 17-game regular season schedule that features a 10-game BIG EAST fixture.

UConn is coming off an 8-3-1 season with a 6-2-1 mark in the team's first year back in the BIG EAST. The Huskies finished second BIG EAST East Division to earn a spot to the BIG EAST Championship.

UConn opens the regular season at home against NCAA Tournament participant and NEC Champion Central Connecticut State on Saturday, Aug. 21. The Huskies will play non-conference home games against LaSalle (Aug. 26), Brown (Sept 9), Syracuse (Sept. 12) and Buffalo (Sept. 18).

Road non-conference tilts include at Boston College (Aug. 29) and Albany (Sept. 5).

BIG EAST play opens on Thursday, September 23 against St. John's. Other BIG EAST home games include Marquette (Oct. 7), Creighton (Oct. 14), Villanova (Oct. 17) and Xavier (Oct. 24). The Huskies will go on the road to face Seton Hall (Sept. 30), Butler (Sept. 3), DePaul (Oct. 10), Providence (Oct. 21) and Georgetown (Oct. 28)

The BIG EAST Championship will begin with First Round games on Sunday, Oct. 31 with the semifinals on Thursday, Nov. 4 and championship game on Sunday, Nov. 7.
