Huskies to Open 2021 Season Saturday vs. CCSU

STORRS, Conn. – The UConn women's soccer team begins the 2021 fall slate Saturday vs. Central Connecticut at 5 p.m. at Morrone Stadium.
UConn is 16-1-1 all-time vs. CCSU. The teams last faced each other on Aug. 29, 2019, when the teams tied 1-1.
Saturday's game will feature UConn head coach Margaret Rodriguez facing her twin sister, Jen Prozzo, who is an assistant coach for the Blue Devils. The sisters both played at UConn and graduated in 1999.
UConn finished the preseason with two exhibition wins: 3-0 vs. UMass and 4-1 vs. New Hampshire. The Huskies' preseason goals were scored by Cara Jordan, Lauren Hart, Duda Santin, Jada Konte, Jaydah Bedoya and Isabelle Lynch (x2).

All UConn women's soccer home games and BIG EAST Conference games will be streamed through FloSports, which is the home of the BIG EAST Digital Network. Subscriptions to FloSports are either $30 per month or $150 per year and grant access to every event streamed through FloSports.
UConn was picked third in the preseason BIG EAST Coaches' Poll. Junior Jessica Mazo was named to the Preseason All-BIG EAST Team.
