Williams Named to 2022 Naismith Trophy Midseason Team

STORRS, Conn. – UConn women's basketball senior guard Christyn Williams was one of 30 players named to the 2022 Jersey Mike's Naismith Trophy Midseason Team.
This season, Williams is averaging 14.6 points and 3.5 rebounds per game. She is shooting 45.5 percent from the field and 32.3 from three-point range. Williams has scored in double-digits in 14 of 16 games she's played in this season.
The Little Rock, Ark., native set a career high with 31 points vs. Minnesota. Williams grabbed a career-high seven steals vs. Butler.
